Artist and designer Nicola Maggi will exhibit his works in an exhibition entitled “Le vie del marmo” in via Paolo Sarpi, at numbers 16, 21 and 55. The exhibition, organized by Maggi Arte Production and curated by Stephan Hamel, will open on April 7 and close on April 13. In the heart of Milan’s China Town, Nicola Maggi will exhibit a series of urban furniture – sculptures made with marble crusts.

ORGANIZER
Nicola Maggi (Viareggio 1966), sculptor and designer, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara. His work explores the reuse of marble waste, showcased at Marino Marini Museum, Marmomac Verona, and Fuori Salone.

At the Chinese Cultural Centre, the “Culture e Colori” workshop returns, inviting kids to explore emotions through personalized color palettes. With this in mind, Design Group Italia and Alkemy BX—the Alkemy division focused on production, creativity, and design— present a project for the new generation.Three narrative panels tell the story of a journey undertaken with students and teachers from the Panzini middle school to imagine how via Verga, next to the school, can evolve to meet the needs of the community.

Róng Design Library, founded by PINWU Design Studio in 2015 in Yuhang, China, is the first Chinese library dedicated to traditional crafts and materials. It preserves knowledge, deconstructs crafts, and fosters contemporary design through exhibitions and projects.

Winx Club at Milan Design Week.
